Reinforced Soil Slopes

Reinforced Soil Slopes (RSS) incorporate planar reinforcing elements in constructed earth-sloped structures with face inclinations of less than 70 degrees. RSS structures offer cost-effective solutions for applications where the cost of fill, right-of-way, and other considerations make a steeper slope desirable. Incorporating an Engineered Earth Armoring Solution into an RSS design allows for long-term vegetated reinforcement that is environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing.
